  1. * STEINMAN.REP Comments on Mr. Steinman's absurb statements on the
  2. subject of the "flying saucer" phenomena being  the work of one of
  3. his Gods.
  4.  
  5.  
  6.  
  7.     Throughout  written history women and men looked up in the sky
  8. and   wondered   at   the  machines  they  observed  there.  Those
  9. civilizations  whose  thealogy  and theology supported a positive,
  10. benign,  and  gentle  Creator  experienced these machines, lights,
  11. and  other  constructs  as  friendly,  and manifestations of their
  12. God.  Those  societies  with  a  polarized deity system of Good vs
  13. Trickster   were   decidedly   neutral  when  such  manifestations
  14. occurred,  and  usually  waited  for  near-future events to happen
  15. before  judging  if  the  visitation  was  from Good or Trickster.
  16.  
  17.     Always,  superior technology has been condemned as work from a
  18. relatively  recent  newcomer  to  mythology,  the Devil. Where the
  19. Trickster  was  not  "good"  or "evil," this new God was decidedly
  20. evil.  It  was  a  Pope who stated that the steam engine was evil,
  21. and  instant  excommunication  from  the Roman Catholic Church was
  22. the  punishment  for  those  evil  sinners who used steam for work
  23. Using steam  meant  that "earning  thy bread  by the sweat  of thy
  24. brow"  became much  easier, and  thus  wrong  in  the  eyes of the
  25. currently adopted God.
  26.  
  27.     Now  here  we are in the 1989s, and technology has pretty much
  28. cut  our  sweating  down  to  those days when the air conditioning
  29. fails  to  work  in one's apartment. Pushing papers around a desk,
  30. and  punching  a  keyboard,  has  a  permanent  place  in  today's
  31. society.
  32.  
  33.     So  one  would  think  that  the  equation "Technology = Evil"
  34. would have been put to rest, right?
  35.  
  36.     No.  Two  years  ago,  on  national TV, a religious extremist,
  37. hysteric,  and  Fundamentalist,  stated  that space craft were the
  38. "work  of the Devil," and then included as "proof" the "Occult New
  39. Age philosophy" in Star Trek and Star Wars.
  40.  
  41.     Then  we  come  to  William  M.  Steinman, the subject of this
  42. diatribe.
  43.  
  44.     I  quote  from  his statement dated 01/19/89, Titled "Ultimate
  45. Solutions  To  The  UFO  Phenomena,"  as  found  in  the text file
  46. Steinman.txt.
  47.  
  48.                "The  Flying  Saucers  originate from an
  49.             'eternal  dimension',  not subject to space
  50.             and time, as we know it."
  51.  
  52.     Mr.  Steinman  courageously  assumes  a  great  deal here, the
  53. least  of which is that "Flying Saucers" are real, either physical
  54. or  astral in origin. While he does not clue the reader in on what
  55. he  means  by  "eternal  dimension,"  we can assume safely that he
  56. refers  to  an  other  worldly,  etheric "plain of existence" that
  57. occultists,  such  as he, loves to speak of. The existence of such
  58. an astral plain is his second big assumption.
  59.  
  60.     As  an  occultist  myself,  I agree with Mr. Steinman that the
  61. "UFO  Phenomena"  is  "other  dimensional,"  and  does  not belong
  62. completely  in  the  realm  of  "space  and  time." I do, however,
  63. object to the fact that he has stated his assumption as fact.
  64.  
  65.                "The  Flying Saucers 'materialize' out of
  66.             this  'eternal  dimension'  into  our  space
  67.             time  frame,  and  have  been doing so since
  68.             time immemorial.
  69.  
  70.       Assuming  that  using  the  term  "Our  space time frame" is
  71. valid  (who  knows?  It could be *US* infiltrating *THEIR* space),
  72. he  does not provide any clue here to what he means by "since time
  73. immemorial."  The  "UFO  Phenomena,"  as  we presently know it, is
  74. only  as  old  as  written  history, which really wasn't that long
  75. ago.  Mr.  Steinman  assumes an antiquity that is not supported or
  76. supportable.
  77.  
  78.                There  is  a  direct  relationship between
  79.             'The  Great  Secret' of the Occult teachings,
  80.             'The  Mystery  of Iniquity' of the Bible, and
  81.             the Flying Saucer Phenomena.
  82.  
  83.  
  84.      Mr.  Steinman  mentions  his occult teaching, but gives us no
  85. clue  at  all  to  what  he's  talking about. As an occultist, one
  86. would  assume  I'd know what he means by "The Great Secret," but I
  87. have  never  come  across  such  a  reference  once in 28 years of
  88. study. One wonders if Mr. Steinman knows what he's talking about.
  89.  
  90.      He  also  fails  to  mention  what this "direct relationship"
  91. happens to be!
  92.  
  93.  
  94.                 The  "Dark Forces" of the Occult, summed
  95.             up  as  Satan (Lucifer) in the Bible, is the
  96.             underlying  source  behind the Flying Saucer
  97.             Phenomena.
  98.  
  99.  
  100.      Mr.  Steinman  is  one  of  the relatively few occultists who
  101. believes  in  the  Christian  God  Satan.  I  have  yet to see any
  102. reference in occult literature to such a deity.
  103.  
  104.      If  we assume, as Mr. Steinman has, that such a deity as this
  105. Christian  God exists, why would It be the "underlining source" of
  106. the  "Flying  Saucer"  phenomena?  And  if  it is, as Mr. Steinman
  107. states,  why  is  it  that  UFOs  were reported before his God was
  108. invented?
  109.  
  110.      I  am  not  aware of anywhere in the Christian Bible where it
  111. states  that  their  Gods chief mode of transportation are "flying
  112. saucers."  I  suppose  the  Pope  should excommunicate these Gods:
  113. some UFOs appear to be steam powered!
  114.  
  115.  
  116.                The  "Dark  Forces"  are  motivating and
  117.             influencing   the   so  called  'conspiracy
  118.             Groups',  who  really  control  every world
  119.             Government,     through    their    various
  120.             Intelligence Agencies.
  121.  
  122.  
  123.      The  only  "Dark  Forces"  (note the capitals in deference to
  124. Mr.  Steinman's  fear  and awe of them) here on Earth, as far as I
  125. can  tell,  and  from occultist teachings, are humans, in the form
  126. of  hate  and ignorance. Mr. Steinman claims occult teachings, but
  127. his statements do not support his claim.

  130.                There  does  exist in the United States,
  131.             an  alliance  between the 'materialization'
  132.             of  these  'Dark  Forces'  posing as 'Alien
  133.             Beings'   and  a  high  level  Intelligence
  134.             group,  presumably  'MJ-12',  who  in  turn
  135.             operates   through   the   N.S.A.,  C.I.A.,
  136.             F.B.I., D.I.A., etc.
  137.  
  138.  
  139.     In  one  sentence  Mr.  Steinman  says  that  his God Satan is
  140. responsible  for the "Conspiracy Groups," and in the next he joins
  141. such  a  group  by proclaiming that the government has sold-out to
  142. this God. So much for consistency.
  143.  
  144.                There    do   exist   Above-Top-Secret
  145.             "saucer  bases" in remote portions of the
  146.             United  States (and around the world), in
  147.             which  this  unholy  and immoral alliance
  148.             are    developing    a    very   advanced
  149.             Technology,   based   on   Unified  Field
  150.             Physics,    Genetic    Engineering,   and
  151.             biogenic  breeding in preparation for the
  152.             ultimate  "materialization"  of the "Dark
  153.             Forces"  when  the  "Mystery of Iniquity"
  154.             is  finally  culminated  in "Anti-Christ"
  155.             or "Ahriman" ("Incarnation of Satan").
  156.  
  157.  
  158.     While  mythology  is  a wonderful art form, why equate it with
  159. high  technology?  And  why  this  fear of high technology that so
  160. many hysterics cling to?
  161.  
  162.     Why  has  he stated, flat out and with no proof or qualifiers,
  163. that  the  United  States  of  North  America's  government  is in
  164. "unholy"  and  "immoral"  alliance  with his God? This is not even
  165. good  mythology,  and  nothing in occult teachings suggests such a
  166. belief-- why Mr. Steinman says it does is a good question.

  169.                This  entire  subject  matter  remains
  170.             the   most  highly  classified  and  most
  171.             closely   guarded  secret  of  all  time,
  172.             under the cloak of 'National Security'.
  173.  
  174.  
  175.     Then how was he, above all others, made privy to this secret?
  176.  
  177.  
  178.                Faith  in  God  is  what  protects  us
  179.             against  this.  Paranoia  is  what allows
  180.             the  'materialization' or Psycho-Physical
  181.             manifestation  of  the  M.I.B.  (or other
  182.             diabolical  forms) to 'visit' you, If you
  183.             know too much.

  186.      Mr.  Steinman  clearly  has  faith in being paranoid. He does
  187. not  state  which of his Gods to "have faith" in. There has yet to
  188. be  any  such "visits" by "diabolical forms," to my knowledge, and
  189. I've  studied  such  things--  all  such  references are generally
  190. understood to be allegory.
  191.  
  192.      I  sincerely  hope  that such a "diabolical form" has come to
  193. take  Mr. Steinman away, and thus removed one more fruit-cake from
  194. the  field  of  Ufology.  Such lunatics give the field a bad name,
  195. which it already suffers greatly under.
